I grew up in New Zealand where I spent most of time in small rural towns, on farms and camping on the beaches.
My mother is a creative soul and always made sure I had the opportunity to paint, draw and craft when I was young. When I look back now, she is certainly the source of my creativity.
My father was responsible for giving me my first camera. From that point on I was always taking photographs and fell in love with photography from an early age. I'll never forget the excitement of picking up developed film photos from the local pharmacy in town after school.
After finishing school and completing my business degree, I travelled for most of my twenties, volunteering in South America and working in London, the Balearic Islands and Melbourne. This is when I developed a passion for documenting real-life moments, and fell in love with capturing natural movements in candid imagery. I never even contemplated boarding a plane without taking my camera.
I now live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, surrounded by natures goodness, with my husband, Michael, and our children/muses Archer and Luca.
I believe wholeheartedly in community and collaboration, and feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such amazing creatives in this little pocket of the world.
